The Voipswitch platform is a solution for service providers, ena= bling deployment of various VoIP services. The platform consists of the sof= tware modules which can be installed in the provider=E2=80=99s network or h= osted in the cloud, letting customers connect through Internet =E2=80=93 OT= T (Over The Top) services.
The core of the platform is a softswitch, which is a network element res= ponsible for accepting traffic from clients, performing call control relate= d tasks and then passing the traffic to destinations. This flow is the basi= s for various VoIP telephony services as there is always a customer =E2=80= =93 subscriber and the termination party, either another subscriber within = the network (Onnet) or outside the network (Offnet), for example a PTSN ter= minal.

Since the services, or at least some parts of them, are paid, you as a p= rovider will need a charging mechanism plus all the billing tools for keepi= ng the accounts, invoicing customers, managing currencies, etc. This is all= already included as an integral part of the softswitch.
